 April 1, 2024 is right around the corner! No "April Fools," changes are coming to the Office of Judges of Compensation Claims interface platforms. The main changes are in eJCC. Take notes, there will be some adaptation needed. The basic interface appearance is changing to accommodate the volume of topics and alternatives. Look for changes. The main screen today looks like But on Monday, it will look like When you hover your mouse over the ones with arrows, like "case" you will get an expanded menu as pictured. This should help with viewing on smaller screens.  We are providing you (the filer) the opportunity to expedite the processing of some motions. An example is settlements. When you upload a  Motion for Approval of Attorney's Fees and Child Support, you will have the option to input the data from your documents. This will speed up the process in our office in many cases. Watch for this change to evolve into a necessity one day. But, for now, it is an option

Updated 03.17.24 21:00 - We are informed that the fuse has been replaced and that the Rhode Building will reopen fully on Monday, March 18, 2024. This post will be updated if that does not occur as planned. The Miami Office remains closed today, March 15, 2024. We have no definite prediction of reopening, but hope to return to the office Monday, March 18, 2024. We appreciate your patience. In 2023, we did meet and greets in conjunction with the Workers’ Compensation Section of The Florida Bar. These were in Orlando, Jacksonville, Ft. Myers, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and Tallahassee. Shout-out to Paolo Longo and all the folks that supported that effort. The Section has scheduled the last two Meet & Greet events, and we hope to see you in: March 28, 2024 – Miami Lunch and rotating-room meet and greet (12:00 -1:00); 401 NW Second Avenue, Suite N918, Miami, FL 33128. March 29, 2024 – West Palm Beach Lunch and rotating-room meet and greet (12:00 -1:00); 250 South Australian Avenue, Suite 200, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Judges Schwartz and Langham will be in attendance and look forward to meeting and mingling.
